TIPS

Learn about the care of a diverse range of animals!

This is Hui Hui

The hui is the hui in hui-se (gray). He is a social and outgoing extrovert. He will follow you around and meow at you if he wants pets. If you are working, he will lay on your keyboard until you pet him. If he gets too excited, he will bite you. He is an effective mouse-killer. His favorite food is sashimi fish.

This is April

Her Chinese name is Ying-Bao. She is a Maltese. Although she is very small, she will bark at anything that moves, including much larger dogs. She acts like a spoiled princess. She will only get on or off a bed if you pick her up. She will bark at you until you feed her or if she wants to get on/off the bed. She barks at windows. She also barks if someone rings the door. Her favorite food is human food.

This is Baby

Her Chinese name is Jing-Bao. The jing is the same as the one in gold. She used to be a stray cat. We named her this because she is brown. She is very shy and spends most of her day hiding inside the sofa. She likes smashing cardboard boxes at 3 am in the night. She loves getting pets and smudging her saliva all over your shirt.

This is Mo-Mo

He was supposed to be a maltipoo, but we got scammed. He is always weary of strangers. Although he is a very timid dog, he will bark at anything smaller than him. His favorite food is human food. He is about a year old. He sleeps upside down.

This is Lizzie

His Chinese name is Xi-Xi. The xi is the same as the one in 蜥(xi1)蜴 (meaning lizard in Chinese). He is a cross between the red and white Argentine tegu. He is a year and a half old. He hates eating vegetables and prefers eating meat. His favorite food is salmon. Right now he is going through puberty, so he is angry and hormonal all the time.

This is Egg

He is a male ball python. He is about a year old. He is very shy and only comes out at night. He eats mice and has no favorite food, because he only eats one thing. He likes hiding out in his hide and staying there the entire day.
